A thin crescent hangs in a near-black sky above silvery, ridged ground. The palette is almost monochrome, and the fine arc of the moon is its brightest line. The title means “a single moon.”

The moon and stars are central themes in Saito's work. Saito traces them back to a night-bus journey: half asleep, the artist saw the moon suddenly appear from a grove of trees beyond the window, overflowing with light.

About the artist

Kazu Saito is a Nihonga (Japanese-style painting) artist based in Kyoto. Born in Kyoto Prefecture in 1960, Saito studied Nihonga at Kyoto City University of Arts. Since 1997, Saito has painted lanterns dedicated to the Motomiya Festival at Fushimi Inari Taisha. Saito has also painted sliding-door and wall panels for Buddhist temples, and Saito's work is held in the collection of Kyoto Prefecture.

Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.

Once your return is approved and the item has been received and inspected, refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.

If your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us immediately at admin@pssecret.com, and we will resolve the issue promptly.

Non-Returnable Items

Due to the made-to-order nature of our artworks, we do not accept returns or exchanges for customer-related reasons such as change of mind, size preference, or ordering errors.
Sale items and gift cards are non-returnable.

European Union Customers

If your order is shipped to the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer protection laws.

Care Instructions

To keep your print looking its best for many years, please follow these guidelines.

Avoid exposing the print to direct sunlight, strong lighting for long periods, or areas with high heat or humidity.
When you receive the print, handle it with clean, dry hands and be careful not to crease or scratch the paper while unrolling.
Let the print rest flat for a while before framing, so that the paper can naturally relax from the rolled state.
Use acid‑free materials (mat, backing board, tape, etc.) when framing to help preserve the colors and paper quality.
To remove dust, gently brush the surface with a soft, dry cloth or duster; do not use water, cleaning sprays, or solvents on the paper.
